Steve has been using new words when he talks about me. Like diet and waistline. Not sure what it all means but I do know that my biscuit delivery has been curtailed. Uncle Wayne and Aunt Roz, for instance, only give me one each when we meet on the beach at sunrise. I’ve tried staring at them with my wide yes. Even giving them a cute snaggle-toothed look. They glance at Steve, then back at me, and then say, “No more biscuits, Roxie.”

Guess I could whine and kick sand. I don’t. Biscuits are still in my life—just not as frequently. The past year, I saw a lot of changes because of my leg injury and surgery. This must be part of a bigger picture. I will trust.
I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by nothing but kind and caring humans since I can remember. Life is good. (Though it would be a wee bit better with a few more biscuits here and there. Just saying!)
I am a grateful pup.

Thanks for coming back to my blog. You make me happier than biscuits!
My book, Roxie Looks for Purpose Beyond the Biscuit, is still available. I share stories and lessons about friends, family, and fun. And I speak about purpose as well. (Steve says for dogs we might just want to call it “furpose.” He makes words up, I think.) The book holds a biscuit or two for you or for a friend!
