I shared this through my Instagram feed (beyondthebiscuit) so pardon the redundancy. (Note: I’m still building my vocabulary thanks to Steve.)
My last blog post thanked the little humans for their kindness and suggested that they might be able to teach the big humans a thing or two.
A few days later, a big human stepped up and made a difference in my life.
Steve and I had just walked to the local puppuccino shop. I don’t get many of these treats but do I love them! Yum!
Unfortunately, like so many other places in our little beachside town, it was closed for walk up orders. No puppuccino today.
Steve talked to a man who stopped in his car. We had never seen him before. He seemed nice. He was there to pick up coffee for himself. I was missing my puppuccino, though. The man looked at me and smiled.
We said goodbye and walked toward home. A few minutes later the man reappeared, got out of his car, and handed Steve a puppuccino. Can you say, “WOW!”?

“The pup looked disappointed back there.” He smiled and left. All I can say is WOOF! (And YUM!) And thank you kind stranger. You brought a wag to my tail that day.
All of us can benefit from a little less yapping and a bit more kindness.
Thank you for the sunshine you bring to those you meet each day.
