The big humans could learn a thing or two from the little humans.
While no little humans live with us, I see them on our daily walks. Sometimes I don’t see them; I see their artwork on the street.
Like this one:
And this one:
Steve asks me to sit. A biscuit might or might not be involved. And he takes a photo. He smiles.
At times they talk to me and Steve. Just last week as we stood looking at the turtles in the park pond, a little human passed us on his bike. He looked at me and said, “Like your dog, sir!”
And my favorite was another chance encounter in the park. I truly little one and her mama asked if they could pet me. I did what any self-respecting dog would do. Never know when the belly rubs will commence!
The big humans could learn a thing or two from the little humans about chilling, smiling, and connecting.
Thank you for sharing my blog with your friends.
In my new book, Roxie Looks for Purpose Beyond the Biscuit, I share stories and lessons about friends, family, and fun. Perhaps it holds a biscuit or two for you!
